Hello All,

I’m using the TortoiseSVN 1.5.0 and when I tried to commit some file to my svn I got this error:

Commit failed (details follow):
MKACTIVITY of ’/svn/varsystem/!svn/act/c5b97b29-9575-f94c-860d-cd55e9d47c78’:
Could not parse response status line (http://svn.assembla.com)

Someone can help me? Please.

Best Regards,

Seems your client do not send Host header to the server. Can you try svn command line tool ?

Hello Vitalie,

First I’d like to thank you for the answer.
I’m not so used with SVN, how can I use SVN command line tool? What should I do in there?

Thanks again,

Hello Vitalie,

I have the same problem, I also tried with the svn command line tool.

svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: MKACTIVITY of ’/svn/cherry-job-manager/!svn/act/5dd88404-e83d-ae43-b3af-8107cc4a4213’: 200 OK (http://svn.assembla.com)

what is the reason for this problem, I has this problem only if I am online over university, at home it works fine.

Best regards,

Most universities use transparent proxy that does not support extended webdav methods like MKACTIVITY, try to use https protocol, it works in such cases.
