Max size for SVN dump that can be loaded?

Is there a limit on the size of the SVN dump file that can be loaded? I am having troubles of importing an SVN delta dump which is < 5MB after gzipping it: browser reports ‘connection terminated’. After failed dump attempts, the repository contains a varying number of entries : some attemps have resulted only first few entries to appear, some roughly half.

I have tried locally to load this particular dump and it works – hence, I believe the file is not corrupted.
