New version of www.assembla.com site will be deployed on Friday 17 Oct 2008 07:00 UTC.

During deploy Assembla web site will be down for 30-60 minutes. Trac/svn/git/mercurial servers will continue to work and services will not be interrupted more than 5 minutes. Also you will not be able to login to this forum, but you will be able to read it.

Features included in next release will be posted separately.

Thank you for choosing Assembla.

Do you think it would be a good idea to let us know what the new features will be before deploying the new version?

Will there be any changes to the charging policy and the way the free and commercial spaces work?

Also, please communicate this information by email or post on some common area on the site. Not everybody is checking this forum (although I have started given the fun from the last day or so!).

Honestly I would strongly urge you to hold off if the svn speed issues aren’t resolved by then. The thought of two major system migrations at once sets off my sysadmin spider sense…

According to our montitoring, all of the svn servers are now working normally. We had delays with one of our servers – svn.assembla.com – on Monday during the move. Can you point to specific symptoms that we should look at?

Actually, the trac2 server seems to be down. I am getting the following message when I try to commit.
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: The OPTIONS response did not include the requested activity-collection-set; this often means that the URL is not WebDAV-enabled
